It's been a while.........

So it's a lame excuse in a program where everyone is as busy as me as still manages to update their own blogs, but I've had too much on my plate to update lately... So I'm making it up to you now with three nice renderings for my final presentation to Ford.

Rendering Assignment

 

This assignment was to find a rendering that we liked on Sim Kom or another design website and copy it directly. After that we were supposed to apply what we had learned rendering a classic car. I picked a rendering by Maxim Shershnev and a 1949 Buick Roadmaster as my two renderings.

So this is a more recent addition to the zombie theme, it's a pretty good marker rendering for me. This vehicle is a little smaller than what I decided for my concept, but it would still work. As my teacher pointed out, the design is still a mix between some type of cartoon-looking car and an old school RC car, so that needs to evolve still too.

So hey, I know it's been a while, but I've got another update for you guys just in time for Thanksgiving. Most of the sketches are from the Ford project we're involved in right now. It involves Millenials, those born between '79 and '95, but some of our projects kinda morphed away from that. Mine turned into a Ford vehicle for the zombie apocalypse (I was watching a lot of AMC horrorfest when we were coming up with our concepts.) There's also a page of sketches from a concept that didn't make it and a few pages from my small sketchbook.
